Guru Nanak Dev University Regional Campus Gurdaspur was established in the year 1999. The college was established to provide the quality education with best facilities to the rural students of Gurdaspur. The college is offering various courses in engineering, management and law discipline. The courses offered by the college are approved by AICTE and recognized by UGC.
The college is located on Hardochanni Road in the Gurdaspur city of Punjab. The college provides all sufficient facilities to the students. The college is located in a serene and a peaceful environment and well connected to all major cities by fast and frequent transport facility.
The University has risen to 16th rank in the top 50 universities of the country, as per recent survey conducted by 'India Today' and has achieved 11th Position, out of the 500 universities, in Publications in science. The University has won the highest sports Award in the country, the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Trophy, for a record of 21 times. The university has won National Championship in Inter-University Youth Festivals in the year 2012. The University has been National Champion for 8 times. The University has also won the North Zone Inter-University Cultural Championship for the 12 times this year.
The Gurdaspur campus of Guru Nanak Dev University has well equipped with state-of-the-art computer and networking facilities. The campus has spacious and ventilated rooms. The campus also has a separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, the other facilities include canteen, dispensary and medical facilities.The Training & Placement department of the Guru Nanak Dev University was established in the year 1998. The main objective of the department is to provide training and placement opportunities to the students and to prepare them for the industry.
